Groundbreaking took place at a new development in Sheboygan, Wisconsin in May of 2025. This project, called “Malibu Apartments,” is located right along the shores of Lake Michigan, at 1403 S. 7th St, along Clara Avenue. The project is expected to take approximately three years to complete.

The Malibu apartments have direct access to the beach along Lake Michigan. Kite beach sets to the north, and King Park, with beach and pavilion at its park, sets immediately to the south.

Malibu Apartments consists of 2 apartment buildings that will house 210 units. These will be upscale luxury units, overlooking the serene setting of Lake Michigan. The property will include amenities such as state of the art fitness center, pet wash & grooming station, lounge with bar area, community room, outdoor patio with pool, sauna and grill station, plus indoor golf simulator.
The facility will also include approximately 3,700 square feet of commercial space.
The Malibu Apartment unit mix includes studios, 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms, some with a den, ranging from a 641 SF studio to a 1377 SF 3-bedroom unit.
131 outdoor surface parking stalls will accompany 205 indoor parking spaces.
