Baraboo Pewit’s Landing Development in Progress

Baraboo, WI (July 25, 2025) –
Groundbreaking commenced late summer of 2023 on a major project, called “Pewit’s Landing” located on the outskirts of Baraboo, Wisconsin (adjacent to the intersection of US Hwy 12 and County Road W).
Pewit’s Landing consists of 8 apartment buildings that house 210 units, 36 garages plus plenty of surface parking. The project will be phased over several years. Upon completion, there will be (3) 20-unit, (1) 12-unit, (1) 28-unit, and (1) 30-unit 2-story buildings, all with exterior entrances per unit. Additionally, (2) 40-unit 4-story buildings will be built on the complex. A clubhouse will conjoin buildings one and two, as well as buildings seven and eight, on the north and south ends of the property. The clubhouses will feature a fitness center and community room for the convenience of its residents.
The unit mix includes 1, 2 bedroom, some with a den, and studio units, ranging from 719 SF to 1186 SF.
255 surface parking stalls will accompany 26 single car conjoining garages, plus 98 indoor underground parking stalls for the 30 and 40 unit buildings.
The units are built with environmental impact initiatives in mind. Built using recycled cellulose above code “R-value” insulation, these units will also see LP Smartside Trim and siding, which was recognized in 2022 as the Most Sustainable Siding Supplier by Green Builder Media. 16 garages for buildings 1 and 2 will have EV (Electric Vehicle) charging access. Energy star rated appliances are used throughout the property at Pewit’s Landing.
