Tomah Fire Department

Tomah  |  Wisconsin

November 29, 2023

The Tomah Fire Department and EMS (Emergency Medical Service) recently moved into a brand new facility, located on the eastern side of Tomah.  Located at 400 N Glendale Ave, this new facility includes 22 overhead doors for Fire Trucks and Emergency Vehicles.  A heated wash bay allows all trucks to be washed as needed, especially during winter, to keep salt from deteriorating the equipment, increasing longevity, saving taxpayer money from having to replace vehicles.   Overnight living quarters, showers, bathrooms, commercial kitchen, and lounge are all on site to accommodate the on-duty staff.

Office space, training rooms, conference rooms are also included.  Additionally, there is a built-in training tower and museum, displaying items throughout the history of the Tomah Fire Department.  The overall finished face measures 36,663 SF.
