Americon Construction was contracted to build a new fire department station for the City of Viroqua, in southwestern Wisconsin.

This project began in 2024 and was completed in October of 2025.  The 27,300 square foot building includes a heated garage with floor drains and 14 overhead doors.  A loft on both ends, offices for chiefs, inspectors & EMS, a conference room, training rooms, a full commercial kitchen, dispatch center, laundry, 4 sleeping quarters, washrooms, a shop, and more.

Plus, the building includes a museum room / welcome center where a display vintage firefighting equipment will be on hand.
